Campervans today are almost exclusively run on diesel or petrol, but at some point as we all know these fuels will run out and before that they will get prohibitively expensive (some would say that has already happened!)  And thats without even thinking about the massive issue of climate change...

So over the next few years, campervan users, like everyone else, will have to start considering alternative means of fueling their cars and vans.  To help out with this process we've created a sister site to campervanconversions called www.electriccarsite.co.uk - a site thats dedicated to helping the transition to electric vehicle technology which we believe will play a major part in the de-coupling of our dependency with oil.  Of course there are other alternative technologies including hybrids, Hydrogen and bio-fuels, but we think electric cars and vans are currently the most likely to provide a real solution in the short term.
