Solve the roof rack dilemma

Having a roof rack is a must for us.. kayaks, windsurf gear, not much use having a camper without it. Having spent hours surfing the net there really isnt a simple answer ..unless we want to spend £300 plus. So far Ive stalked other campervans in car parks, lurked on the VW forums and googled it to death.. watch this space. A decision has to be reached by the time it goes into a local garage to have the roof fitted next week!
