vehicle selection

Over the last few years I have brought, driven, planned, pondered over many many different types of vehicles to make into 'my camper'.

I have settled on a rough looking but solid old Vauxhall Combo. I know these vans quite well (i used to work for Vauxhall), the 1700cc Isuzu engine is a great little motor that will run on alternative fuels SVO or bio etc which was a factor I was considering when choosing a base vehicle.

I am looking forward to the challenge of converting the quite small rear area of the van to suit my needs. I plan to use the van during track days / race days as an area to warm up, have a brew etc. Also, if i get the time off, I would like to do a bit of travelling in the van.

I guess I better get busy!
