Using the starter battery

I've got a pretty simple solution to the whole battery thing - I'm just going to use the vehicle starter battery and make sure I don't run it flat. Worse case scenario is I do run it flat and then need a jump start - it won't take long before I'm a good judge at how much I can have the radio, lights, etc on before the battery starts to go flat... simple but effective (and oh so cheap!)
