Task Write-up:

Just had a look at the photos and feeling a bit bad - everything really needs a good clean!!

We put in a mini sink with tap and then a double burner SMEV stove under the window in a purpose made wood unit. My other half created hinged split lids for both so you can cover them independently when not in use and it gives a good worktop. It also means you can store the camping kettle in the sink and some mugs when your travelling.

The sink tap is on a little spring and pops up once the cover is lifted. There are a couple of little swivel catches at the side to keep the lids up (the stove one is broken at the moment so I've improvised and its just propping up the lid). The sink tap is wired into the electrics and plumbed to a water tank at the back of the van, there is copper piping plus flexible hose from the gas bottle at the back of the van to the stove.

The waste water system is super sophisticated - a tube from the plug hole can either drain through hole in the floor of the van or collected in a container depending on where the van is parked up.
