Blog Instructions

We have replaced our Blog section with a new Communities section where there is a dedicated section for each vehicle type.  The community pages let you discuss your conversion project with other people doing similar things on similar vehicles.  It lets you see other peoples conversion projects and share your own.  The community pages are at www.campervanconversion.co.uk/communities

For any Campervan Conversion Questions you can still use our campervan forum.

Hi Guys, this site is just what Im looking for, its great!

It all starts here...

Today (29th May 2010) marks the day that I declare my interest in buying, converting and using a campervan.  Inspired by suggestions from my wife, input from friends, pushing my nose up against the shop window of a local professional camper an conversion company, being impressed with the quality of their build but horrified by the cost, and then further inspired by this website (and others).  Quite how well this dream will turn out, I'll wait and see.

About to start.

Hello to all, i have just bought a vivaro swb high top to convert, i have never attempted this kind of work before so any advise would be greatly accepted, first off i am trying to get windows for this van, it seems there are two types, i would add that i would like the window nearest the cooker( when i get one in )to slide open and shut. is it a good idear to have a roof window? and finally how hard is it to get hold of a swivel passenger seat for this van type? are there any companys out there that under take this kind of work.
