Mk1 Vito 03

Back in september I bought my self a nice 03 Mk1 Vito with the intention of converting it.
I am also a drummer and usually transport all the bands gear around so it seemed natural to buy a van.

This was my first van and it was imidiatly clear that, while it is increadibly useful to cart stuff around it, others immidiatly asume that i will 'just give them a hand moving my wardrobe' etc which can be irritating after a while. Saying that, since owning it i have helped 4 people (plus myself) to move house and had several road trips and helped countless people 'just move a wardrobe' etc. oh and moved an electric organ! (we got the organ working off the inverter too! was much fun!)

The first job was address the patch of rust on the drivers door. i got the power sander with a rough grit on it and a wire brush and cleaned it back. i was please to find that it was all surface rust and the metal underneath was fine so i just coated it with an anti-rust surface primer and hoped for the best.

Next job - actually start converting it.
