Hello there. I need some help with this quickly if possible. I have a chance of getting a Citroen C15 Champ 2001 and wondered how easy it was to convert into a camper van or indead if it is big enough. Alternatively is it possible to put a Romahome on it? Your help greatfully received.

Hi Andy, I don't have direct experience of the C15 but looking at photos online it should be possible to do a small but compact conversion. It doesn't look that different from the Vauxhall Combo which someone else is working on - post here. You can obviously get the C1 with the Romahome, how it would be to retrofit yourself though I don't know. It probably depends how you're feeling about embracing the home conversion route and how good you are with welding :o). Good chat going on at the moment about someone who has found a donor roof for an LDV convoy and is in the process of fitting it to a different base van. A lot of the issues will be similar. Let us know how you get on.
Did you get the Champ in the end Andy? Have you converted it? A mate of mine might be able to get one off his dad and is wondering how it could work as a camper.
