Hi,

I am fairly new around here so not too sure if this has been asked before. I have an ex AA VW Transporter T4 which I am converting to a camper/surf van. Currently in the cab there is a double passenger seat, which (as far as I know) does not fold forward.

I have also removed the factory fitted folding double seat out of the back of the van, as this seat can fold forward to provide a flat surface for a table etc. I wondered if it would be at all possible to swap the current passenger double seat for the one out of the back. I presume they are of similar sizes, I am not sure if I could just keep the legs of the front seat and put the top of the folding on or whatever.

I just wondered if anybody new anything about doing this, or if there is anything else I can do to still keep a double passenger seat and have it folding to a flat surface.
