The plan

There were a few things I wanted from the van as a project:

A single berth (or cosy 2 berth) day/camper van that would be my only vehicle so had to be cheap to run, and not look too out of place on the driveway.

Under 2m tall so I can park on the big car park at Cromer (and other car parks as well)

Have a bed area readily available for a kip. I had a commercially converted Mazda bongo before with a "rock n roll" type bed. The problem was that it was a bit of a fiddle to open and took all but about a foot of the floor space, meaning a shuffle of bags etc

Mostly I wanted to convert to the DVLA standards about at the time! Make it an "official" campervan to prove that it could be done in the small space.
